Shipping, Returns and Checkout

Last updated October 12, 2026. This page covers what happens after you order a t-shirt or hoodie from the GenZ Decoded shop. Fourthwall makes, ships and supports every order, so the figures below are Fourthwall's, with the date of each Help Center page noted.

The short version

Every item is made to order and shipped by Fourthwall. Its Help Center says production takes 2 to 5 business days before an item ships, and that a typical US order arrives 5 to 12 business days after the order date. The delivery time shown for your product at checkout is the one that applies to your order.

Fourthwall's returns policy, updated July 31, 2026, says it does not accept returns for buyer's remorse or sizing preference, but returns and replacements are available for a verified quality or fulfillment issue.

Who you are buying from

When you place an order, Fourthwall is the seller. Its Terms of Service, last updated August 19, 2026, say that each product order "is a transaction directly between Fourthwall and the End User," and that Fourthwall is responsible for "sourcing, shipping, returns and refunds" on those orders.

Fourthwall also takes the payment and handles the tax. The same Terms say that "for sales tax purposes, Fourthwall will serve as the Merchant of Record." Keep your order confirmation email, so Fourthwall's support team can match any charge to your order.

How long making and delivery take

Fourthwall says on-demand products are made after purchase, and that production can take longer during holidays or large product drops. Its Help Center, updated September 22, 2026, gives these typical times. Its product and marketing pages sometimes show other delivery windows, so rely on the time shown for your item at checkout.

  • Production (all on-demand orders): 2 to 5 business days.
  • United States, transit after production: 3 to 7 business days.
  • United States, total from order date: 5 to 12 business days.
  • International, delivery after production: 2 to 4 weeks.

International orders take longer, Fourthwall says, because of customs processing and longer transit routes.

Where we ship and what shipping costs

Fourthwall's Help Center, updated May 11, 2026, says it ships print-on-demand products to most countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada and Mexico, every European Union member state, the United Kingdom, much of Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa, with limited coverage in the Middle East. Coverage varies by product because Fourthwall uses more than one fulfillment partner.

The country list in the checkout dropdown is the current authority. Fourthwall's list of countries has the full detail.

You see the shipping charge at checkout before you pay. Fourthwall's shipping costs page says the price depends on the item type, destination and manufacturing location. For a rough idea, Fourthwall published these first-item estimates for t-shirts and lightweight apparel on May 20, 2026. They are estimates, not guarantees, and additional items usually ship at a lower rate per unit.

  • United States: $4.50 to $6.50.
  • Canada: $8 to $12.
  • UK and EU: $5 to $10.
  • Australia: $9 to $14.

Customs on international orders

Fourthwall's Help Center, updated September 22, 2026, describes two kinds of routes. On Delivery Duty Unpaid routes, import duties and customs fees are the customer's responsibility, paid to the carrier or customs authority on delivery. On Delivery Duty Paid routes, duties and taxes are collected at checkout.

Fourthwall says most of its fulfilled orders to the European Union use the paid route. For EU orders of 150 euros or less, a flat 3 euros per item in customs duty is collected at checkout, and larger orders use the standard tariff duty, also collected at checkout. Coverage varies by fulfillment partner.

VAT and other import charges can differ by country, product and route. Look at the customs line at checkout, and confirm any destination-specific charge with the carrier or your customs authority.

Tracking an order

Your shipping confirmation email contains the carrier's tracking number. Fourthwall's Understanding Order IDs page explains that the separate eight-character Fourthwall Order ID is the one to use for support, refunds and order questions, so keep both.

Fourthwall warns that many shipments pass between two carriers, such as DHL or UPS to USPS. The first tracking number can stop updating after the handoff, and a "Label Created" status that does not change for several days may simply mean the package is between carriers.

Late or lost packages

If tracking says delivered and nothing is there, Fourthwall suggests looking with neighbors, building staff, mailrooms and package lockers, then waiting two business days after the delivery scan. Then contact Fourthwall support with your order number and tracking information.

If a package is in transit with no update, Fourthwall's September 22, 2026 page says to wait at least two weeks after the ship date for US orders, or three weeks for international orders, before treating it as lost. Its missing, damaged or incomplete orders article, updated April 29, 2026, says Fourthwall will investigate with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund if the package is confirmed lost.

Damaged, misprinted or wrong items

If your item arrives damaged, with a defective print, or as the wrong size or product, Fourthwall's policy says to:

  • Contact support within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Include your order number.
  • Provide clear photos of the damage or defect. Photos are required for all quality issue reports.
  • For a wrong size shipped, photograph the size label.

If the claim is approved, the production partner ships a replacement at no cost. Keep the item and its packaging until you hear back.

Change of mind and sizing

Because products are made to order, Fourthwall does not accept returns for buyer's remorse or sizing preference. A buyer who ordered a medium and later wants a large is not eligible for an exchange. Size exchanges are only available if the wrong size was shipped by the production partner, which goes through the steps above.

Buyers in the European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom may have statutory withdrawal rights. Fourthwall's Terms of Service describe a general 14-day withdrawal period for eligible physical goods after the consumer receives them, with exceptions that include goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

Each product page in the shop has its own size guide with garment measurements. Compare them with a similar item you already own. Fourthwall's suppliers warn that there may be a discrepancy of up to 2 inches (5 cm), so leave some room for that.

Cancelling and refunds

Fourthwall's page on cancel, refund, exchange and return, updated September 30, 2026, says it accepts returns within 30 days only for defective products covered by a supplier warranty, and that returns of non-defective items are not automatically accepted, apart from what statutory EU, UK or EEA rules require. For a defective product that qualifies, the purchase price is refunded and return costs are covered.

Cancelling an order is time sensitive. Fourthwall's cancellation and refund page, also updated September 30, 2026, lists a customer cancellation window of 1 hour for on-demand products. A cancellation stops production or shipping when that is still possible, so if you need to cancel, act quickly.

Paying safely

Fourthwall's list of accepted payment methods, updated August 18, 2026, includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Amazon Pay and Cash App in the United States, along with local methods in other countries. Use the methods shown at checkout.

Fourthwall says it "uses Stripe for processing credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay transactions," and its Privacy Policy names Stripe and PayPal as the providers that receive payment information. GenZ Decoded never sees or stores your card number.

Getting help with an order

Fourthwall's support team answers order questions at support@fourthwall.com, and its Help Center has guides for buyers. Fourthwall says its support team averages a reply in 12 hours or less, nights and weekends included. Include your eight-character Fourthwall Order ID and, for delivery questions, your tracking number.

When you are ready, head back to the shop or return to the home page.
