- [fboi](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/fboi/): Fboi is a texting spelling of f---boy, an insult for a man who chases sex or attention while avoiding commitment, often by leading people on. It is rude.
- [ghost posting](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/ghost-posting/): Ghost posting is uploading a photo to Instagram, archiving it right away, and restoring it days later, so it sits on your profile without going out as a new post.
- [jazzed](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/jazzed/): Jazzed means excited or delighted about something, as in "I'm so jazzed for the concert." It is informal North American English, upbeat and friendly in tone.
- [vibe coding](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/vibe-coding/): Vibe coding is building software by telling an AI what you want in plain words and judging the result by whether it works, without reading the code it writes.
- [killed it](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/killed-it/): Killed it means someone did something extremely well, like a presentation, an interview, a set or a post. It is casual, enthusiastic praise and a compliment.
- [parasocial](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/parasocial/): Parasocial describes a one-sided bond with someone you only know through a screen, like a streamer, celebrity, character or AI, who does not know you back.
- [legit](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/legit/): Legit means genuine, trustworthy or impressive, as in "is this site legit?". It also means "really", as in "I legit cried". Both uses are casual and friendly.
- [peak](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/peak/): Peak is slang with two opposite meanings: in US and online fandom slang it means excellent, and in London slang it means bad or unlucky. Context tells you which.
- [main squeeze](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/main-squeeze/): Main squeeze is informal slang for someone's main romantic partner, their boyfriend, girlfriend or sweetheart. It is affectionate and sounds a little old-fashioned.
- [S-tier](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/s-tier/): S-tier means the very best, the top group in a ranking, above A-tier. Calling something S-tier is strong, informal praise, borrowed from video game tier lists.
- [bait used to be believable](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/bait-used-to-be-believable/): Bait used to be believable is a mocking reply to a post so obviously made to provoke people that it does not work, meaning nice try, nobody is falling for that.
- [not me](https://genzdecoded.com/blog/not-me/): In a caption like "not me crying at a commercial", the poster is admitting they cried. The phrase is a joking confession, owning something a little embarrassing.
